cherylandtk Posted August 29, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 29, 2006 Depends on the cruiseline, but usually you are offered reduced deposit amounts and/or onboard credit.
katier825 Posted August 30, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 30, 2006 Not sure about your particular ship, but on the Carnival Glory, there wasn't a future cruise office, so no booking while onboard. I was really surprised. Princess does, and you can book for only $100/per person deposit. Great way to have something to look forward to without tying up alot of money. NCL also allowed bookings for future cruises. I forget the details of that one though. You can transfer the booking to your TA when you get home. The TA's usually offer a bit more, either a lower final price, or other credits, wine/photos, etc.
cherylandtk Posted August 30, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2006 Carnival does not do individual onboard future bookings, they have their 'timeshare' type option the Carnival Vacation Club. You purchase points to use towards a future cruise(s).
