Verandahs

The verandahs have high opaque partitions between them, but they are by no means soundproofed. You can definitely hear your neighbors moving around. Just HOW private do you plan to be?

;)

 

Also a guy smoking cigars on the balcony next to us sent smells drifting our way once or twice.

they are very private in the fact that you really cannot see anyone beyond yours normally, however, you can hear folks next to you.

 

If its any consolation... i was able to sunbath on my s suite verandah "au naturale" without any issues. :o

The only thing that was a bit annoying (and i use the term loosely) was hearing others chairs scrape across the floor. I was careful not to move them in such a way that would bother others!

The verandahs on the side of the ship offer a lot of privacy. But, the aft veranda in the corner suites on the Vista ships are very visible. There is a long, but narrow area on the side that is private, but its mostly out there in the open and visible from above.
