XM or Sirius in Europe???

Does anyone know if either of the two satellite radios work in Europe or do they only have reception in North America? We would like to take our portable radio on our Mille Med cruise.

Sorry, can't answer the question. I have both...nasty twist of fate. But, I love my XM and if I was taking mine I would call XM and ask them what the situation would be. Maybe they can route your signal through another satalite for a period of time. Can't hurt to ask!

The XM Satellites only cover North America, so reception is limited to the Continental U.S. and Canada. I'm pretty sure the situation is the same for Sirius.

 

You can receive XM via their online streaming, but then you're paying $$$ for an Internet connection.
