We will be taking a day sail on the fantasy this month. It will last untill about 3:00 p.m. My wife would also like to get some jewelry shopping in. Our ship the Paradise sails at 5:30, so we will proably need to be back on 30 minutes prior. My question is. After we get back to Red Hook will there be enough time to get back and shop. How far is the shopping area from the dock? Thanks for your help

There is wonderful shopping right at the dock. As good as downtown. All the big stores are right there!

Provided there isn't a lot of traffic you should get back to the pier from Red Hook with a good hour to shop. There are several shops right in Havensight before you get on the ship.

Would love to get your feedback on the Fantasy excursion as I reserved that sail boat for our group in November. You definitely have time to shop at the stores by the cruise ship.

Does anyone know what time the shops at the Havensight dock open in the morning?

I think some are already open at around 9:00. But by 10:30-11:00 they should all be open.

 

As soon as the ships leave, they pretty much roll up all the sidewalks at Havensight and in Charlotte Amalie.
