concal Posted September 4, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2006 We're staying at Residence Inn Saturday night as well. What cruise are you on? We're on Mariner. Don't recognize your name from Roll Call.... Some of us are eating at Grills - at the marina and you can watch the Saturday departures from their deck. Here's the website. You can download a coupon for there as well. www.visitgrills.com
brandylaw Posted September 6, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2006 We were there and stayed at a fabulous cozy b&b type hotel called The Inn at Cocoa Beach. Anyway, we asked them, and the grounds manager suggested this bar/restaurant called The SandBar which was only a couple of businesses away. If you like the bar type, relaxed casual atmosphere, they had great food and try a Hurricane. I did a Category 4 and WOW  This place in nestled behind the 24 hour Ron Jon's Surf Shop, not directly, to the left. It is a place you wouldnt look at twice, or if you did, turn around ;), but as most of us know, these are normally the gems.
LisaRhea Posted September 6, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2006 We have eaten at Durangos in Cocoa Beach - it was good. There is an Italian restaurant beside the Radisson that is also good, but we haven't been there in a few years now. We have also tried Dixie Crossroads in Titusville. If you like family style seafood, this may be for you. It is a short drive and is quite popular.

suezyq50 Posted September 8, 2006 #6 Share Posted September 8, 2006 I would go to Grilles. Food is good. If you are there around 5, you see ships leaving.
Whimsy Posted September 8, 2006 #7 Share Posted September 8, 2006 We dined at Grills also last year. We all enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Great place but be prepared to relax and wait a bit, it is busy! But then all the good places are!!! Have a wonderful cruise!

As for the Italian restaurant, I hope you are not referring to Kelsy's Pasta & Pizza south of the hotel.... when we ate there in July, it was not that great.
