babsmv Posted February 22, 2007 #52 Share Posted February 22, 2007 Thanks for all the great rules. We will be traveling with DH, DD (15), DS (16) and each of our kids are bringing a friend of the same age. We are planning on having a family meeting long before we leave to review rules with our children and their friends (and their parents). What we are trying to figure out is the best way of keeping in contact with them on the ship. Has anyone used a tracphone with text messaging? Is the charge much higher on a ship than at home? Are ship phones available for use to leave messages in cabins? When our kids were younger we used walkie talkies and it worked ok, but the kids complained about having to listen to other conversations etc. and not being able to hear well in certain areas of the ship. Thanks, Barb
99florida Posted February 22, 2007 #53 Share Posted February 22, 2007 The same rules that are applied at home and don't bend just because you're on a ship.
