Horse races on the Empress?

Is there horse races on the Empress & if there is do they have the derby where you own & dress the horse?

I do not believe that they do have Horse Races I just came back on Saturday off the Empress.

RCI seems to have dropped the horse racing from most of the fleet based on our recent sailings and comments here from other CCers:( . A shame, we were looking forward on our upcoming Radiance 15 nighter with 7 sea days to buying a horse and really dressing it up.:D

It may be up to the cruise director..........we had heard they were dropped as well but there they were.........on the mariner in April. Horses went for over $1,000 in most cases as well:eek: ........so it may be up to the cruise director.

In august on the Granduer, they had horse racing....what a blast.
