Sarge on the Crown

Enjoyed Sarge-saw all his shows. He said that he will be at Lincoln Center but I can't get any info about dates. Would appreciate it if anyone has any details. We will be back on the Crown at the end of Oct. Will he still be there?

We saw Sarge on CB last year and hope to see him on the 9/30 sailing of the Crown. I read that his contract with Princess runs 'til January.

He mentioned when it was going to be on the 8/25 sailing. I'm pretty sure he said it was going to be february of '07

Not quite sure about that schedule --- Sarge was performing on the Crown the evening of 9/2, and I'm quite sure I read from current cruisers that he was still on the Crown, at least for start of the current cruise. I was on the 8/25 sailing and he joined us in San Juan.

He is not to be missed.Get there early for his midnight show. People were sitting in the aisles and they had to start early-afraid of overcrowding. He is one talented guy.

Sarge is great!! I've seen him twice on Princess cruises and by far, the best comedian they have!! Except for Dick Gold.:D

Funny, I didn't think Sarge was all that funny. He had his moments but I though the first comdedian they had, his name escapes me, was a lot funnier than Sarge.

Sarge is currently on the Crown, as are we (9/10). He mentioned the Lincoln Center show being at the end of February and that he would then be touring the US with the show.

We have enjoyed his humor in both the theatre as well as the common areas of the ship.

We've seen Sarge three times (Coral, Grand, and Princess). The first time we saw him we thought he was hilarious (especially the Mike Tyson bit......I was hungry) but after that, we changed our opinion. He hasn't changed his act. It's the same old thing. I would think he could incorporate some new stuff rather than having a late night show that is essentially the same, except a little more raw than the early evening one. I've seen him do Lionel Ritchie two too many times....I'm glad he's on the Star when we're on the Golden at Christmas this year.

Sarge was ok......seems like he is a little over-rated.

 

Carl Strong on the Crown was much funnier.
