lacruiser Posted September 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2006 Based on positive recommendations on this board I've emailed them twice to ask for more information and have yet to hear back. Has anyone else had this experience? Are they just slow to respond or what? Their whale watching trip sounds like fun --
m steve Posted September 10, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 10, 2006 I was trying to book a whale watch trip w/them last month after enjoying one 2 years ago and they replied that they have an exclusive contract w/ Celebrity so they don't book privately. m steve Posted September 13, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2006 They have several boats and all are not tied in w/a particular cruise line. They also book with the local hotels and you can join one of those trips. His service is great.

chrysalis Posted September 23, 2006 #7 Share Posted September 23, 2006 We have used Chris Hackshaw in both 06 and 05......that is a class operation he runs, and no one would be disappointed with their time on the water with his staff. marc

sunandfunatsea Posted July 16, 2007 #10 Share Posted July 16, 2007 Late.. but better late than never.. We had an awesome time - 9 people . We had a fishing charter/whale watching tour. We saw about 300 dolphins.. KIDS LOVED it.It was a highlight of the trip. No fish but we had an incredible day. Chris has a top notch outfit and crew. He was waiting for us by the dock near the ship. To our surprise he upgraded our 38' boat to a 50' boat. I would book him in a second !!!
fishing_guy Posted August 6, 2007 #11 Share Posted August 6, 2007 Just got back from the fishing excursion booked through Carnival (August 2nd I believe). $139 pp for 4 hours. It almost got canceled due to high seas. Luckily, the others booked with us were game, so we talked them into taking us anyway. We had 1 hit, saw a lot of dolphins, drank a lot of beer and told a lot of fishing stories. Tons of room for the 6 of us on the boat! Kind of a semi-private excursion, with some fishing thrown in. About what I expected, but I would do it again in a second.
