#1TravelMom Posted September 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2006 We just got back from a stay at Breezes. Stuart Cove's snorkel trip - a must! The first two stops are at coral reefs-lots of fish(not a big variety, but beautiful). At the second stop I saw a shark swimming near the bottom. The 3rd stop - WOW - you put your face in the water and there are sharks everywhere! If you're a little hesitant about the last stop, you can see the sharks from the boat or just take a peek - some people just put their faces in quickly to see them first hand and got right out. Normally, I'm a big chicken, but for some reason, I was very calm and in awe that I could watch sharks swimming just underneath us. They weren't the least bit interested or aggressive. Don't miss this trip!
plus521 Posted August 5, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2008 My family and I are planning to do this thanks for making me even more excited than I already was :)... do you have any pictures?? Would love to see them!! Were there any kids with you or on the trip. I have a 10 and 11 year old (girls) and they both say they will do it, but I don't know... if there were kids on yours did they go in?? The Flying Pirate Posted August 30, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2008 That sounds like fun, were there scuba divers on the boat too or was it all snorkelers? Staurt Coves has been doing that shark encouter for years and have developed a good reputation for it.
