Hairdryers on the Liberty????

I have heard that Carnival ships do not have hairdryers, and if they do that they do not work very well. I was wondering if the new Liberty has done a better job on installing working hairdryers. We are going on a Med. cruise and would rather omit the weight of packing a hairdryer if they do have them...and if they work.

 

Could someone who has cruised the Liberty comment on what they found.... Thanks:p

The Liberty does have hairdryers. They are in the cabin and in a drawer, attached by a cord. They work very well and it's certainly better than bringing one along!!!!

The dryer works fine but you have to keep you finger on the switch to keep it on. My thumb got a bit tired. It still beats packing one.

We sailed Med in June on Liberty.

In one cabin, someone had left a piece of black velcro that you wrap around the "button". Another had (some how) gotten a small rubber band that was strong enough to keep the button done. Where there is a will, there is a way!
