Help with Zaandam Cabin

Hello I have just booked cabin number 3430 Handicap Cabin for my parents on the Zaandam New Year Cruise to Hawai. I am now concerned that as this cabin is at the back of the ship that they'll feel the engines or the have excess noise from the turbines. Does anyone have any knowledge of this cabin. Any helpp or information would be appreciated.

Hi Denjules:

Tinknock (Sean) should be answering your question, but as he's not here right now, I'll just point you to his posts. He just cruised on Zaandam with his mom, who needed a handicapped cabin. Here are the threads in which he gives specifics about HC cabins on Zaandam:

My Mom and I had the identical cabin on the opposite side of the ship. I did notice some vibration at times, but I didn't find it disturbing or noisy.

I loved the location with close access to the promenade deck through a nearby exterior door. The view is blocked straight out the window, but from right and left, there is a good view.

I think they will like this cabin.:)

There is a very nice unobstructed Cat D across the hall with a nice view aft (D3429), but of course that would cost more.
