Just back from Voyager 9-day (very long, part one)

Recommended Posts

On the 7/2 cruise of the 9nt Voyager, the dress code included two formal nights. The cruise compass had smart casual listed in one place and casual in another..so technically it was 1 smart casual and the rest casual. In my case, we dressed up for the formal nights, did casual for the rest, except for the night we went to Portofino's...the guys wore sport jackets. But even in there, men dressed in short sleeve shirts and slacks. So don't worry...7 nts casual and 2 dress up nights is fine. You should see what some people wore on formal night....man oh man. I saw a table where two mean were wearing tuxes and two others were wearing sleeveless T-shirts!

so they do it before you leave port?

Yes, right before, since the ship sails at 5:00 PM and at 5:30 PM goes under the bridge. Then you go right to dinner if you are at first seating! Our luggage arrived during the muster drill.
