El Cano in Alcapulco?

Does anyone know anything about the El Cano Hotel in Acapulco? We are thinking about trying to go there for the day during our Dawn Princess cruise. We have been to the Hyatt several times and would like to try someplace different this time. Does anyone know if they let cruisers use beach chairs, pool, etc. if you buy drinks/food?

El Cano is a very nice hotel, located on a nice beach. I don't know about daytime use for ship passengers, though. Why not send the hotel an email and ask the question?
