I listened to the live announcement and we can now bring aboard planes 3 ounces or less of liquids, gels, and areosols. They must be in a quart size (or smaller) zip loc bag. We can now bring eye drops, small toothpaste, hair gel and lip gloss etc

 

ALSO, we can now bring aboard items purchased in the 'sterile' area (as they term it) located after Security. We can purchase airport coffee, water etc and duty free liquids in the shops/kiosks located after the security area.

I always carry lip gloss and a tube of lotion. I am a nurse, so my hands take a beating in the colder weather. I was worried about it for my December plane ride.

WHEW. With gloss I can leave the rest of my stuff in my checked bag.
