NOS departure and main seating

Sail time is typically 5 PM. But I have been on ships which didn't actually leave until 5:40. But the time from leaving pier until you are out past Miami only takes about 30 minutes. So you should be able to enjoy and still make dinner. Also, on the first night, first seating is usually a little later than 6 PM to accomodate people who just made the ship before sailing. Also, the first night dinner is completely casual, as some folks will not have gotten their luggage yet. On this night it is acceptable to wear shorts in the dining room if you haven't been able to change.
