Mercury quad cabins

We are booked on the Mercury for Australia/New Zealand in Feb 08, we are in an inside quad cabin..there will be two of us, does anyone know if the beds in those cabins are flush with the ceiling , I'm concerned about putting the beds together and having the beds , even though not used being in the way. Celebrity assures me that they won't be, but I'm not so sure . We are in #8147 which is a cabin that runs sideways to the hallway, usually there is more walk around room in those cabins. Any info would be appreciated

Our group had 8089 through 8101, all quads. The upper berths are not flush mounted, but they do make lovely balcony seating for a Pizza and movie party :D

The upper berths aren't flush, but they shouldn't be in the way either.
