Mariner theme nights?

Recommended Posts

I was on the Mariner back in November and although there were theme nights I don't recall seeing anyone who actually dressed up for them.

The only exception was for Caribbean night in the dining room, where just a few more than normal folks donned thier flowered shirts.

The themes were really more gearded to the entertainment for the night. however, if you wanted, you could get out a poodle skirt and letter sweater for oldies night and have a grand old time. You could start a new trend.

Have a great time.

There aren't any real "theme" nights, although they do suggest Caribbean dress one night, if you so desire. You'll see lots of people in their flowered dresses that night.

Now there is a "Dancing Through The Decades" night with a family dance party, and I have seen groups of people who have brought outfits to wear to that. There were some crazy coloured afros, hats, even families with matching tee-shirts. I haven't actually BEEN to this event, but always see pictures in the cruise in review DVD that is shown on the last night of the cruise.
