Herkguy Posted October 8, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2006 What is acceptable clothing on the non-formal nights in the dining rooms? IE can she wear her stylish jeans? Also, how many people generally wear halloween costumes on halloween?
Toto2Kansas Posted October 8, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 8, 2006 We have sailed on Halloween before and except for a few masks, never actually seen costumes for dinner. Although there is usually a costume party somewhere after dinner. As for jeans. Well, if you read anyones opinions, including the cruise lines, jeans, stylish or not, are not acceptable dress in the diningroom on Princess. Rare Tom O. Posted October 9, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 9, 2006 Or what if, for Halloween, you were going as a NCL passenger?
NHCruisr Posted October 9, 2006 #6 Share Posted October 9, 2006 We were on the Sun Princess on Halloween one year. Halloween fell on a formal night. All of the guests were in formal wear, not a costume to be seen. The waiters, however, all had costumes on! It was somewhat surreal but fun in a strange way. MaryPoppinz Posted October 9, 2006 #7 Share Posted October 9, 2006 On Golden Princess a few years ago, there were both crew and passengers in costume on formal night. I don't have any interest in bringing a costume on a trip, so we didn't...but there were quite a few passengers who did. And, it *was* a surreal mix, that's for sure.
