flagger Posted October 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 21, 2006 Is the windjammer above too noisy? Or should I look for something on the hump on a lower deck and perhaps a D1? Considering it for a Canal cruise in 2008 if it is available for booking when we will cruise.
cb at sea Posted October 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 21, 2006 No, no, no! Don't downsize! You shouldn't have ANY noise that will bother you! In the evening, when Windjammer closes, you may hear the odd chair or two scraping as the cleaning staff moves them back into place, but unless you are a very early-to-bed person, it really shouldn't bother you. We heard it once or twice--that's all. The JS's are really nice--don't get a smaller room--you'll be sorry!
MavisMarie Posted October 21, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 21, 2006 We stayed in a D-1 aft, deck 10...not the first bit of noise, though I was expecting to hear some! :)
