flagger Posted October 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2006 Anyone know? Looking at options for 2008 and Hawaii is now one of them. I wonder why they are not listed and when they will drop.
Snowball Posted October 22, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2006 I'm waiting for Hawaii 2008 rates and itineraries to be released too. Hopefully by early spring 2007 they'll all be out. It isn't easy to be patient when it comes to planning cruises, is it? :o

Coralc Posted October 23, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2006 For the last 2 years, they have released the Hawaii cruises for the following year in May....so I would guess that you have a while to wait. Sorry. :)
dougp26364 Posted October 23, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 23, 2006 We booked our 2007 cruise to Hawaii on April 28th. That was pretty close to the first day they came out. So it looks like the end of April or the first part of May before the 2008 itneraries will be out for RCI.
Arizona Cruz Chic Posted October 23, 2006 #6 Share Posted October 23, 2006 We're booked on the Serenade for Oct '07, we booked that June, 27 2006 about 16 months in advance! So hopefully spring '08 will be open soon. I'll continue to check 2 and 3 times everyday. ;) ***
Coralc Posted October 23, 2006 #7 Share Posted October 23, 2006 And the May/October 2008 cruises will probably be released in Apr/May of 2007. But check everday if you wish......it's not exactly soon. :D

SPARKLE10 Posted October 23, 2006 #9 Share Posted October 23, 2006 Hi: I'm a Diamond member with RCCL, and Hawaii is my favorite destination for a cruise. I was wanting to book a 2008 Hawaii cruise with RCCL and none were showing yet; so I went and booked with Celebrity for 2008. I really wanted RCCL, as we have done 4 previous Hawaii cruises with them, but when I saw that Celebrity was doing three overnight stays in Hawaii, I just had to book it. We've never done Celebrity before, even though we've cruised 40 times; and everyone raves about Celebrity....I hope we're not disappointed. Sometimes I book for the ship...(Freedom of the Seas for New Years Eve) and not the itinerary; and sometimes I book for the itinerary (Hawaii 2008) and not for the ship. The Celebrity ship is the Mercury and we just don't like smaller, older ships. Maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised. If RCCL had their 2008 schedule out for Hawaii, I would have definitely booked with them. Happy Cruising.....Sparkle 10;)

Don't forget that this far out, you can still switch if RCI comes out with something you like better. That's what we ended up doing. Originally, we booked the Med for '07 then changed our mind when we saw Hawaii and the prices offered. Hawaiian iteneraries came out a few days after the Med iteneraries.
