cabins on Hurtigruten

Am considering the Norwegian Coastal Voyages (summer round trip) and wonder if the balcony cabins are worth the extra cost or do you spend most of your time elsewhere? Pictures of balcony rooms look very nice and it doesn't get dark until 11PM or so. Comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

I went on the Norwegian Coastal Cruise last summer. VERY VERY expensive with practically no perks except to view the norwegian coast line which is spectacular. The boat was noisy. I wouldn't do it again due to costs but then again it was a beautiful scenic cruise. I wouldn't bother getting a nice cabin unless you're the type to spend a lot of time in it. Our cabin was interior so we only went there to change clothes and sleep.
