Booked as single, then added?

Has anyone booked as a single then added 2nd in room a couple of days later? I know I can go on bargain cruise next week but DH won't know till Thursday. I would like to book room so I won't loose it & would go on my own if DH can't come. How would that work to add him?

If it's next week it may be cutting it too close. They have to submit a passenger list within a number of days of sailing, so call a PVP to find out for sure when the cutoff line is.

More info needed. How soon is the cruise? You'd probably be better off waiting those two days to find out if your DH will be going w/you.;)

 

If you book the cruise for yourself only, you'll be charged the single supplement, which could be 150 to 200 percent more than a double occupancy rate. If your DH decides he wants to go, the paperwork will change to a double.

Ended up booking for both of us. Criuse is next week. PVP told me I could book alone, then add DH. Single room (port hole) was only $249, double being $199 pp.
