Cabins for 3 Pax

we are planning a cruise to Alaska in 2007. We want to sail HAL or Celebrity with a Vancouver BC departure. :) My Dad (90ish) wants to come. Any suggestions what cabin or cateegory to reserve?

Woulds appreciate any ideas.

No answer here but maybe this could be the start of a general thread for info on 3 passengers traveling together.

 

Disney has outside staterooms that sleep more than 2 persons and will be in Mediterranean next summer but we prefer Spring or Fall. Do any other ships have outside rooms that sleep 3?

 

Are single rooms terribly expensive?

You could see if one of the SA suites would be big enough for handle 3 (plenty big for 2 - about 554 SF). Granted, there is no separate bedroom so Dad would need to sleep on the couch which opens to a sofa bed so if privacy were NOT an issue, that could work.
