Christmas Wedding on Elation

We are having a small wedding on 12/23/06. Do they allow you to get ready once you board the ship? They told us to be there by 10:30 a.m. I'm worried things will get messed up.

HI I am getting married on the Elation this sat. You WILL NOT have time to get ready onboard except for changing( 99 percent of the time anyways) we are to be there at 10:30 as well, but do not get to board until the ship clears customs around 11:30 or 12. OUr wedding is at 1pm, with everyone except the bride needing to be in the location at 12:45. Hope that helps I will be giving a review when I get back next weekend

We got on board at 11:00. Our suite was ready, as was everyone elses room that were wedding guests. We all had makeup and hair done before we boarded. Our guests had time to eat lunch then change into wedding clothes. I had plenty of time to get dressed before our 1:30 wedding. Good luck and have fun.

Dont count on having a lot of time. Our Miracle wedding 3 months ago was at 1:00 and we didnt get to board until 12:00. Throw in the rehearsal, changing, and having to be ready 15 min. before and we didnt even have time for last minute hair touch ups.
