Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted November 11, 2006 Author #26 Share Posted November 11, 2006 Hubby and I are planning to go to Nick and Nora's one night on our cruise next year. I am looking at the menu now. Under the "Starters" it lists the appetizers and soups together. Would we be able to have an appetizer and a soup or is it just one from that category? Also, under the side dishes do they allow you only one choice of a potato OR a veggie or would I be able to have both? That menu sure does look good!!!! :D Occasionally we have been able to order two starter or sides... but the best bet is to plan on eating in there AT LEAST a couple of nights, that way you don't have to feel like you are being DEPRIVED of something else you KNOW that you would LOVE to have! gypsyrose Posted November 13, 2006 #28 Share Posted November 13, 2006 I can't believe this new menu. WOW! I will never make it out of the dining room, I want to try everything. Crab legs? And all the alternates they have for people who are not adventurous. Looks like a really good menu. Thanks for posting.
smellywax Posted November 13, 2006 #29 Share Posted November 13, 2006 It looks pretty good...I just noticed, did the supper club get rid of the 3 types of creme brulee dessert? That was the best and it doesn't say New Zealand Lobster anymore under the Lobster tail...which was soooo good because they are super sweet. Anyone? denb Posted November 13, 2006 #30 Share Posted November 13, 2006 Thanks for posting the menu Tom-n-Cheryl. We're looking forward to it at the the end of February on Legend. We had a very similar menu on Elation at the end of September. I really liked the extended alternate menu items. The BBQ Baby Back ribs on the alternate menu were EXCELLENT. Whitetail Posted November 13, 2006 #31 Share Posted November 13, 2006 I agree with Swiss, we were on the legend the first week of the new menu also, the food was okay but nothing "wow" the soups were all really good and the Baked Alaska that was pretty wow. Crab Legs & Lobster were good, the salmon the last night was excellent. The first night was a special Halloween dessert, it was inedible. My 13 yr old doesn't eat all the side stuff so he ordered 2 meats nightly, you could also get white rice or french fries. Part of the menu never changes from night to night, so if you don't like the new stuff, you can pick from the alternative which has more common foods like Steak or Chicken with Baked Potato and Shrimp Cocktail.
