deeron51 Posted November 14, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2006 What is the best way to find out if there will be a large group/rally/conference on your cruise? Thank you.

Puffinater Posted November 14, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 14, 2006 Not all group cruises are advertised. Try doing a web search using google or something similar. Search on the name of your ship and the dates. This does not guarantee you will find anything but you might.
IMNiles Posted November 14, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 14, 2006 The cruise line won't tell you if there is a group on board, so it's up to you to do some sleuthing. One strategy is to start googling the ship name, dates, home ports -- anything that would uniquely describe the cruise -- and see if it brings up any web pages offering group/affinity sailings, trade conferences, seminars, partial charters, etc. There's really no such thing as a sailing without groups - I'd venture to bet that every sailing has several groups - some will be large and visible, and some you may go the whole week without seeing. So just because you don't find any hits doesn't mean there won't be any groups - it just means they're not being advertised publicly. :)
