Large Group Get-Togethers

The cruise line won't tell you if there is a group on board, so it's up to you to do some sleuthing. One strategy is to start googling the ship name, dates, home ports -- anything that would uniquely describe the cruise -- and see if it brings up any web pages offering group/affinity sailings, trade conferences, seminars, partial charters, etc.

There's really no such thing as a sailing without groups - I'd venture to bet that every sailing has several groups - some will be large and visible, and some you may go the whole week without seeing. So just because you don't find any hits doesn't mean there won't be any groups - it just means they're not being advertised publicly. :)
