I took photos of all the menu's (Lido and Chef's) a week ago while on the Oosterdam. The lido has much the same with a few items less, if you want them emailed to you give me your address.
Would love to have some idea: nmnita@msn.com

and thanks a bunch: i would think the Amsterdam would be similar.

We ate in the Lido in October on Chef's night on the Volendam. There was no hint at all of the chef's dinner at the Lido. I did not really pay attention as to whether the menu was the same or not -- it was somewhat limited in some ways, but with more choices in others (such as desserts).

I much prefer the dining room. I think the food and presentation are better. In the Lido there were many tables around us that had already been vacated but were not cleared for quite a while -- not really the atmosphere we enjoy but definitely a step above dancing waiters and flying salads.

Thanks for all the info. Since I am not interested in the entertainment that goes with the Chef's Dinner I was hoping the Lido would me open and serving similiar food.

Good question. Wonder if you still have to duck from the flying pepper mills!!

LOL :D
