arzz Posted November 18, 2006 #10 Share Posted November 18, 2006 We ate in the Lido in October on Chef's night on the Volendam. There was no hint at all of the chef's dinner at the Lido. I did not really pay attention as to whether the menu was the same or not -- it was somewhat limited in some ways, but with more choices in others (such as desserts). I much prefer the dining room. I think the food and presentation are better. In the Lido there were many tables around us that had already been vacated but were not cleared for quite a while -- not really the atmosphere we enjoy but definitely a step above dancing waiters and flying salads. Odd Ball Posted November 21, 2006 Author #11 Share Posted November 21, 2006 Thanks for all the info. Since I am not interested in the entertainment that goes with the Chef's Dinner I was hoping the Lido would me open and serving similiar food. Good question. Wonder if you still have to duck from the flying pepper mills!! LOL :D
