i would suggest 'QUEEN MARY 2 THE GREATEST OCEAN LINER OF OUR TIME" BY JOHN MAXTONE-GRAHAM WITH PHOTOS BY HARVEY LLOYD

Mary...i second that recommendation. It's a lovely book. Last Christmas we gave it to our best friends who will be sailing with us on QM2 in 2 weeks, and they were thrilled with it. He's not a big reader...too busy..but he read the whole thing.

Get the one from John Maxtone Graham. My wife and I were lucky enough to get an autogrpahed copy on a crossing we took last summer. He is so knowledgeable and his lectures were not to be missed. Great book.
