Island Princess Cabin A311

Does anyone have information about this cabin? It is right under the Lido deck which worries me beacuse I think it might be noisy. I keep hearing all these great things about an aft cabin but I felt the vibration of the engine on the Grand way more when we had a cabin that was closer to the back than we had previously. I know it is all a matter of personal preference but I still like to hear your experience.

Thanks,

G

My only concern with that room is that it is the first room on the recessed portion of the ship. So while on your balcony you will not be able to see forward very much because of the bump out section blocking your view. I suggest you go forward slightly. A209 to A310 are all on the bump out section and have better, more private, views. As far as noise, I have been under the Lido deck before and never noticed noise there, but I suppose it depends what is exactly above.

Tom,

I did read all of the info you have written about the bumpout on the Island and the Coral and looked at your webpage. Great info. I meant cabin # 310 which looks like the last cabin on the bump out. I was concerned about chairs above scraping and noise from the bar I guess. Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it very much.

Mahalo,

Ginger
