boxsterr Posted November 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2006 I just received a call from my TA.....she had a message from Seabourn that cruise is delayed by a day......when she called the emergency number no one knew anything......does anyone have any information as to the problem? This is our first Seabourn cruise....not a great start!!! It is easy for us because we live in Florida, but the couple traveling with us is from California....expensive to change flights at this point! Thanks in advance for any info anyone has Looking forward to a fun time......just will have to start relaxing a day later

Tex805 Posted November 18, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 18, 2006 Very difficult situation! Nonetheless, Seabourn is being very classsy about it - putting us up in the Hyatt Regency, and refunding a day's worth of the cruise cost.
boxsterr Posted November 18, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted November 18, 2006 Thanks so much for referring me to the thread......that is a terrible thing to have happened......my thoughts and prayers go out to all concerned. Please excuse my "pettiness" in asking questions.....I had no idea what had happened. Safe travels to all... Brenda
eleang Posted November 21, 2006 #5 Share Posted November 21, 2006 I'm very sorry about what happened. We are scheduled to sail on 12/5, I'm wondering if ours will be delayed one day as well. Have you heard if your cruise will be one day shorter ? or it'll will just end one day later than scheduled. We have not received any notification of changes in our 12/5 sailing. ???????. bgood Posted November 21, 2006 #6 Share Posted November 21, 2006 Eleang, They are shortening the cruise by one day so that everything is back on schedule before it reaches Caldera. (At Panama Canal actually). That way nobody's arrangements at Costa Rica have to change. bgood
xplrcrzn Posted November 21, 2006 #7 Share Posted November 21, 2006 They have deleted Puerto Moin, CR from the itinerary.
