sheilb4 Posted November 20, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2006 I am in the process of booking a GS on AOS, but having just seen some CC pics of the balcony it appears to be completely covered! Please can anyone who has stayed in one tell me if this means you are completely in the shade and NO sun on the balcony? I really want to be able to lie out in the sun on my balcony if I can. Thanks. Sorry, not likely on the AOS. The balconies are in the structure of the ship, unlike the newer Navigator, Mariner, Freedom. This does not mean the sun can't shine in, but don't count on laying out. jspang Posted November 20, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2006 We stayed in a GS on the AOS the week of 11/5. The balcony was very nice. Yes, covered but depending on the time of day you got sunlight. I would advise you to get a port side if you like to people watch while your in port. ckrobyn Posted November 20, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2006 No real sun to speak of on the balcony of a GS on the AOS. We had 1324 last February. Click on the link in my signature, there are lots of pics of the balcony! :)
