Need a Restaurant Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a good restaurant to sample local cuisine close into Georgetown? We really don't want a hotel restaurant- just somewhere good and easy to get to. :p :confused:

I recommend the Reef Grill at Royal Palms. It is on Seven Mile Beach, just a mile or two (inexpensive taxi ride) from the tender docks. It is very good, and reasonably priced for GC where restaurant prices are high. Dining, local style, is often from small restaurants.

 

In Georgetown, I like Corita's Copper Kettle on Edward Street near the library. It is a small place with good food at reasonable prices, and an easy walk from the port area.

 

Along Seven Mile Beach is the West Shore Centre, a shopping centre which is home to Chicken!Chicken! They serve excellent wood roasted chicken with a variety of side dishes.
