Water Taxi?

Has anyone taken a water taxi from the ship's port over to Trunk Bay? If so, can you give me details?

 

We're going to be over there in January and everyone says to get to Trunk Bay early...

There are no water taxis at Havensight. I am not sure about Crown Bay. However the cost would be $$$ and no boats are allowed into Trunk Bay to my knowledge. The National Park waters are strictly patroled.

Just get up and get going!:)

If you do an advanced search on this forum only for "st john ferry" (or similar), you should get a whole bunch of threads as this subject comes up quite often. Only search back 1 month to start and then further as necessary. There are two ferries with different departure points (one closer to the ships, but also a longer boat ride and more expensive; one across the island that runs more often, takes only about 15 minutes, and is less expensive, but it involves getting across the island by taxi, car, or public transport). The cost and travel times involved are kind of a push.
