Do you get double credit for a JS?

Do you get double points for a JS or do you have to book full suite? My friend is 2 away from platinum and wanats to be at that level before next Thanksgiving. She is thinking of booking a JS on a cruise just to do that. I thought it had to be a higher category.

Yes, you get 2 points for a JS.

Yes you do get double credit to book a JS. I did that purposely when I was at three credits to get the extra credit to be platnium quicker.

To be technical, it's not double credit. You get 1 extra credit if you stay in a JS not double credits.

 

If you go on a 12-night or longer cruise, you also get 1 extra credit. So if you on a 12-night cruise in a JS or higher, you could get a total of 3 credits.

That's not why we book JS's, tho--it's for the space and the tub!!!

Wrona is right.......you get one credit for the JS not necessarily double..........we got 3 credits on our 15 day cruise in October........one for the cruise, one for the length being 12 days + and one for the jr. suite......total of 3
