JustRambling Posted December 4, 2006 #29 Share Posted December 4, 2006 Just wondering if a Past Guest discount would be better than $300 off our family booking? Anybody know? Or does it depend on what itinerary you are booking? Thanks for any help.

Simply Southern Posted December 4, 2006 #31 Share Posted December 4, 2006 I went to Carnival.com last night on my home computer and saw on the home page the 12 days of Christmas link to the special. This morning at work when I go to Carnival.com I don't see anything about the 12 Days of Christmas special. Is anyone else having this problem? Can someone go to the carnival's home page and tell me if they see the link? Thanks in advance. :p

If you've looked at the Carnival site on your work computer recently, say on Friday before you left work, it probably has an older version of the page in the cache. Computers use caches to save download time. If you refresh the page, you should get the updated version of the page wiith the sale link. Hope that helps. :)

Only 25 to go around I see and they are not available until 3pm EST each day but they see like great deals if you can travel at the times specified, which are end of Jan to end of Feb I believe. $199 for cruise!! What a deal!!!!!! But you have to to be one of the first 25 to call in and get the special...

jamessa Posted December 4, 2006 #40 Share Posted December 4, 2006 I am getting ready to book a 7 day cruise in October. Should I try to book it on the 12th day or will better deals most likely come after the new year?
chilldowns Posted December 5, 2006 #41 Share Posted December 5, 2006 I booked with my Carnival Personal Vacation Planner today We plan on using Day 3 sale. She will apply that code and if there happens to be a better code on Day 3 or Day 12 she will switch for me. I also recieved christmas card from carnival- it plays the carnival theme song, it included a $100 on-board credit per stateroom. She said I send that to a different contact and they will apply. That along with a $100 credit from a problem on previous cruise and $100 credit for being a shareholder is making things look good. If you want to use my Personal Vacation Planner send me an email. OceanDreamin Posted December 6, 2006 #47 Share Posted December 6, 2006 I e-mailed my TA the codes in this thread, as well as the list of the 12 days of Christmas sales, and I got a revised Booking Summary from her showing the price on our already booked cruise dropping by $50 each for me and DH. :D Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you wonderful people who post this information!:)
CrusinAgain Posted December 6, 2006 #48 Share Posted December 6, 2006 That is funny.... I would cancel and reebook I believe since they are cruising in Feb. that they are already in the penalty phase so it wouldn't be worth it to cancel and rebook. retired and cruisin Posted December 7, 2007 #50 Share Posted December 7, 2007 Did anyone happen to capture the sailing dates for the first offer? We will be on the Victory Jan26th. It's a music cruise and I don't see getting too much R&R which is great by me. That being said hubby would like to spend a few days in Florida before we fly home to rest-up. After looking at beach hotel prices you might as well be on a ship where they feed you. So we were looking at the Feb 1st sailing of the Fascination from Miami. This will be our first time on Carnival and I wasn't aware of the Christmas sale. I guess you'd call it a B2B??? I was just wondering if we missed a deal, the dates offered seem so limited. Thanks Colleen
