Obstructed balcony cabins

I was assigned cabin 8164 on the brilliance and it is supposed to be an obstructed view cabin, does anyone have any info on this type of cabin

It is most likely one of the balcony cabins where they park the window washing machine. :)

If it is the window washing equip., never fear--it's hardly an "obstruction". You can see right through it--it won't hamper anything, view, ambiance... Is this the last cabin on the side? If so, you will more than likely have a bit larger balcony than the other sides--we loved our "partially obstructed "JS!

Do you pay for a lesser cat. on an obstructed view balcony? I know on Disney everybody wants those because you pay less but you get a balcony. They call those secret port hole rooms.

Here's a picture of our obstructed view stateroom on Splendour. It wasn't that bad, but they didn't list this cabin as obstructed. We didn't know until we went out to the balcony.

 

LKO-These cabins are the same cost as non-obstructed.
