"Self-Assist" Debarkation, your thoughts?

The only thing I hate about self-assist is getting my suitcase down the escalator! I have some sort of phobia, I think, because it's really not THAT hard. Thankfully at the NOLA terminal there are also regular stairs. If I had to maneuver down that escalator with a backpack, large rolling suitcase, AND my two kids, I would probably have a panic attack. They can walk down the stairs while I lug the suitcase down the escalator.

 

Of course there are elevators at all terminals, but you may have to wait in a line to use it.

Just came off the Miracle Sunday 12/10 The self assist held up everybody from 7Am till 10am carrying more luggage than they could handle just to be me first. After they were out of the way the rest of us got off very smoothly. I personally like the old tag system
