Here are some photos taken on our trip in Alaska... You will see some smoke and some fog.....but our hearts were full of sunshine :)

Your sunset pictures are to die for! Very impressive.

 

It looks like it was really foggy in College Fiords for you. Could you see much at all that day? At least it cleared up for Glacier Bay.

 

I have some friends who started their cruise tour today in Fairbanks - I hope they don't see that much smoke. I haven't looked up the weather recently to see if it is still bad.

I understand after July 4th it improved in Fairbanks.. Thanks we just printed out one of the sunset pictures on our photo printer it turned out so nice!

Thank you for sharing your pictures. I agree the sunset pictures are wonderful. Did you have any rain on your trip? It looked foggy but didn't look like it rained. The Glacier Bay pictures were really good.

yes, we had some rain.....When we were at College Fjords and Glacier Bay it rained on and off. I can't imagine what that all would have looked like on a clear day!

Rhonda, thanks for sharing your pictures. I loved the horseback riding ones, and the moose, bear and eagle. I have to agree with the above posters.........the sunsets were fabulous!!! Alaska is so beautiful!

Well let's put it this way....When our plane was landing in Fairbanks the pilot got on and said don't think the plane is on fire, its the smoke from the wildfires...It was bad...but the further south we got the better it was...
