Archipelago Posted December 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2006 I was looking at the Seabourn menu and was dreaming of an after dinner cappuccino . I wanted to replace the frothy milk with whipped cream and to sprinkle cinnamon and grated chocolate on top. Would they be able to do this on the Legend ? I am not a demanding person but I thought that this might be nice.
xplrcrzn Posted December 7, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2006 Sure, they'll do this, assuming the espresso machines are working.
Two4Sea Posted December 7, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 7, 2006 We hit an odd limit down under this spring, Aussies simply don’t put partial cream in their coffee on shore so we couldn’t get “half and half” with the breakfast coffee onboard. The problem was that if they don’t drink it in the local land service then Seabourn can’t buy the dairy makings for our style of service on the ship. They were accommodating to the point of thawing some whipping cream from the galley but of course that took too long. Maybe in the evening full whipped cream works smoother however. When desserts are in the wings I think your plan has to be a cinch. Bill
