Mintty Girl Posted December 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 11, 2006 Can anyone who has been on the crown since November, give us any tips on what shows to see, especially the comedy show's. As this is our first time with Princess Cruises and the Crown Princess is there anything else we should not miss whilst onboard. With only a few days to go now, A sunny Christmas is on it's way!:)
willysgrandma Posted December 11, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 11, 2006 When we were on, there was no Sarge. As far as our group of 14 was concerned, there was no must see show. If Sarge is on the ship when you are - he is a must see.
MaryPoppinz Posted December 11, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 11, 2006 I agree. If Sarge is onboard, see him. Otherwise, there are numerous talented musicians entertaining around the ship. Brett Cave in Crooners, True to Life in Explorers, and various bands, pianists or guitarists throughout the ship. I'm not a big fan of production shows, so I can't recommend any of them. crossstitcher Posted December 11, 2006 #4 Share Posted December 11, 2006 If Dan Horn is back on board - you will want to see him - he was in the explorers lounge for 1 night - I even purchased his DVD he was that funny.
jkinca5 Posted December 12, 2006 #5 Share Posted December 12, 2006 Is there a way to see a schedule of the entertainment onboard before you arrive? I am sailing on Dec 23rd.
Colo Cruiser Posted December 12, 2006 #6 Share Posted December 12, 2006 Sarge is done for now and has no plans on cruising in the near future because of his upcoming commitments at the Lincoln Center in New York in 2007. :) Hopefully they will have the same cailber entertainers onboard in the future as Sarge set the bar high in my book. Sandytoes Posted December 12, 2006 #8 Share Posted December 12, 2006 Destination Anywhere was excellent. Motor City was extremely good. Comedian Sarge was a hoot. Farewell party was much to be desired.

Colo Cruiser Posted December 12, 2006 #12 Share Posted December 12, 2006 Wow I stand corrected! Looks like maybe his deal at the Lincoln Center fell through or is delayed by a few months. Looks like his booking on the Crown is at least 2 months into 2007 now. :)
