Accessible Transportation in St. John

Hello! I was wondering if anyone know if there is accessible public transportation in St. John or St. Maarten.

I will be traveling with my son who is in wheelchair. We will be bringing his own chair and he cannot walk at all. The wheelchair does not fold up at all.

If anyone has any info, it would be greatly appreciated. Or, if anyone knows how I can reach someone on these islands to ask them.

Thanks again.

Ask this under Disabled Cruise Travel at this site. I am sure you can get answers there. As for St. John, the transportation there is a cab or open air bus. I have seen ship's wheelchairs that do fold up. Perhaps you could use those when going ashore.
