Bbrave Posted December 13, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2006 Hi, this is my first cruise. I've printed out my boarding pass and thought it is normal that they didn't send me the package. But I just realized they should have sent out something no matter how. This makes me a little nervous. Am I the the only one who received nothing??? cruisinbuddy Posted December 13, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2006 Get on the phone. My next cruise is with Carnival and I printed my 'Funpass', which will expidite boarding, but I recieved my docs on Sunday. Who are you cruising with? This will help for other people to give you advice.
paul929207 Posted December 13, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 13, 2006 If you are on Princess, you don't need anything but the boarding pass you printed. US airlines now have e-tickets, so you don't get anything from them either. Have a great cruise. Paul
vjblk Posted December 13, 2006 #4 Share Posted December 13, 2006 It might depend on who you are cruising with. With most cruiselines, if you have preregistered on line and have your reservation number that is all you need to get on board. You could pick up your luggage tags at the pier. How did you book your cruise. The last two times I have cruised I booked with an online agency and received e docs. You may have received e docs. Have you checked your spam folders to make sure they didn't go there? Although it really doesn't matter. I usually just give them my passport and they look me up in their system and then check me in. CaptData Posted December 13, 2006 #6 Share Posted December 13, 2006 Bring your id and print out your pass(es). When you get to the pier ask for baggage tags and have a thin felt tip marker or pen with you and write in the info required. Have fun.
LHP Posted December 14, 2006 #7 Share Posted December 14, 2006 To help with that personal info for the luggage tags (name address) ..bring self adhesive address labels to peel and stick on the luggage tags. Then have a red felt pen for the cabin number. Have a great cruise!
