Port Everglades expects to break its previous records on December 23rd with 46,666 embarking & disembarking passengers. The prior record was 44,108 in December 2003.

Holy moley! I'll bet there are probably at least 15 ships in port then?

 

Glad I won't be in that crowd. Truthfully, that many people congregated in one place scares me ... especially if embarkation is delayed and people start getting impatient and rowdy. :(

Bring them on.....We southerns with our college football are use to being knee deep in crowds, actually we thrive on em.

I normally do not mind crowds and can stand in lines watching others be upset and just be laughing about the situation.

DD and I will just be thrilled to get on that boat, so bring em on and man hope to make the record book. Nice to know we are helping them break the record.

Wow! There are several very large ships there. But ... doesn't seem like 46,000 people worth. Maybe they are talking about combined embarking and disembarking passengers? If so, then I guess 46,000 people is a reasonable estimate of the expected crowd.
