Drink prices on Crown

We typically got a medium - DH always had a margarita.

 

A medium, to me, seemed to be 1 1/2 to 2 times the size of a regular "bar-size" drink here at home. It was plenty for dinner, plus maybe the theater, whereas here at home, DH might go through two at dinner, if he actually would buy two (usually switches to Coke after the first). After seeing the size of a medium, I don't know that I would have wanted to see a large!:eek: :D

 

I think the mediums cost us about $7 for a margarita, mai-tai, daquiri, etc.

Keep in mind that volume is not indicative of quality - while on the CB in '05 I was astonished to see how little alcohol was added to most mixed drinks; maybe this is what the official recipe calls for, but if you like your drinks, ehem, strong, step over to the 'how do I ferment my own moonshine using the cabin hairdryer and fruit from Horizon Court' thread for details :eek:

 

On a few occasions it was hard to tell the difference between the coctails and the moctails my youngsters had...
