Input needed for visiting the Caves & Tobacco Beach

We will be docking in St George's on RC Empress of the Seas in April. We have 3 kids 9, 9 & 10 - and are interested in exploring the Caves & also Tobacco Beach. The Empress is docked from 9am - 7am (the following day). I would imagine there is plenty of time to do both sites but wanted to know the location of both & how easy it would be to get from the ship to the caves, to tobacco beach and back to the boat. Would the bus be possible or is the best option to take a taxi? Does anyone know the entrance fees for the caves, & taxi/bus fares?

Any tips greatly recommended.

You can take either a taxi or a bus to the Crystal Caves. With five of you I suggest taking a taxi. If you want to go directly from the caves to Tobacco Beach then you would have to take a taxi. Returning from Tobacco Bay to the ship you could take a taxi or walk. Entrance fees to the caves are $12 for adult and $7 for your children for one cave. For both caves it is $18 for adults and $8 for the children.
