US Dollar going down in Europe

Has anyone rethought their plans to go to Europe with the dollar being lower than last year?

We will still be doing the Rome to Stockholm sailing in May. If you can afford to sail, then spend a few euro and enjoy! You can't take it with you, and if you could, how would you spend it!

Hey US Friends:

Think about your neighbours to the North. We have to contend with US dollars with Oceania and Euros in Europe. Always suggest buying foreign currency regularly if you travel and if the currency issue causes concern, then should you travel? Most of us do not spend a lot of money while on a cruise. Just for those special little things on shore. However, tours are another thing. Groups of travellers can save on tours by negotiating private sight seeing tours on shore or before your cruise. We all work hard to save for vacations. Go and have a great time !

We try to prepay as much as possible in USD. Another strategy is to buy foreign currency when the exchange is more favorable.

 

But not travel to Europe.....never! :D
