Jacksonville Airport Is this time to Early

The port is very close to the airport but 10:30am might be pushing it. If the ship arrives late or there is a delay in clearing customs then you could miss your flight. The Jacksonville airport is very nice and modern if you decide to take the later flight.

I'd take the chance if I were you. I don't know where you are flying to, but even in the unlikely event the ship was very late, you should be able to get another flight. You're at most 15 minutes from the airport once you get off the ship. I'm planning at being at work in downtown Jax by 9am when I return (I'm two for two doing that on prior cruises from here).

I am the unlucky gambler. My sis is the lucky gambler. It is a toss up. I am just going to settle for the later flight and see if I get there early enough I can go standby.

Thanks everyone

10:38AM departure means that you should be at the airport by 9:38.

The best plan indeed is to confirm the later flight and try to standby for the earlier flight.

If you book the earlier flight and miss it, you would face the possibility of your later flight being sold out.
