Holiday Inn Port of Miami ???

We have reservations at the HI in Miami across from Bayside Mall.

 

Can anyone tell me the size of the safe deposit boxes at the front desk. I don't like the idea of leaving a lot of cash or documents in the room. Are the clerks at the desk responsive when needing to get into the box?

 

Bayside Mall...Is it fairly safe at night?

Don't know about the inside of the hotel rooms....but Bayside is where the tourist go when they come here so you can count on it being safe at night. Just don't wander off into the lonely streets of downtown after darek since most stores are closed and the streets are a little deserted in certain areas.
